Not so scary now, are ya, big guy!

This is the only sculpture I’ve placed on a gravestone. People are always leaving little gifts of flowers or small change in the lion’s paws, so this is just another offering. But if the mouse isn’t careful…

    Oh, that reminds me of “The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe”, where the mice chew through the ropes for Aslan :)

    I’m sure that scene in the book was inspired by the same story I’m betting is the inspiration for this which is the Aesop Fable in which after a lion spares the life of a mouse the mouse repays the favor by chewing through a hunter’s snare.
