Taking in the sights

A mouse admiring the view of the War Memorial and the Chapel in Abney Park.

(Or at least he was. By the end of the month I might not need to clean up anything because the sculptures are all disappearing!)

    Does it bother you when your creations disappear, or is that part of the project?

    I like to think of this guy happily living on someone’s mantle :)

    The funny thing is that when I was leaving sculptures in the same park last year, I was delighted to have one go missing.  It meant that someone liked my creatures enough to want to keep them.  It’s only now when I have the intention of a exhibit that the disappearances bug me.  But yes, I’m happy with the idea of the mouse taking up residence somewhere a bit more cosy, perhaps with other knick-knacks to keep him company.

    Also, having them taken is better than having them damaged or defaced, which is also happening.  *sigh*  The joys of displaying ones work in a public place.  :}
