A bout of insomnia inspired me to give seeing the Leonids a try. After 20 minutes of nothing, I saw an absolutely beautiful meteor. It lasted one second and was distinctly green. Almost made the sleeplessness worth it. :}

I’m thrilled that my computer is back and seemingly as good as new… and then things go back to normal and I’m driven to decorative language. Oh well. :}

So I’m finally done with jury duty… and my laptop’s hard drive died. I’m keeping my fingers crossed that I haven’t lost any pictures and cursing the extra delay for the calendar. *sigh* Murphy’s Law strikes again.

I’ve been called for jury duty.

10-28-09: Well, I was picked for a jury and I’m finding that I don’t have enough energy for heavy concentration during the day plus finishing the calendar and doing the regular sculptures at night… so, if no one minds, I’m going to let myself of the hook for the latter obligation. My brain is all full of things I can’t discuss yet anyway. :}
